You all know how much I love a good blazer, better yet you know how much I love a versatile blazer. I am all about mixing and matching everything in the wardrobe. However, one of my biggest and frequently asked questions is how do I take my business wear and make it casual.

First, thank you for asking. Second, I am so excited you are wanting to wear your blazers more than just to the office. My biggest advice to you is do not over think it. For my look, I started with a simple white blazer with a black tank layered under it, paired with jeans. This is what I consider to be more of my professional wear. If you can’t wear jeans to work, swap out denim for a great pair of pants, I’ll tag my favorites below!

To take my look from the office to a girls night out, I traded my solid black color tank for a graphic tee instead. I absolutely love the edgy vibe it gives to the look, as well as, really dresses the look down. The best part about this is, it is so effortless and easy, meaning you can go straight from the office to grabbing a drink with friends with little thought going into what you are going to wear or how you would feel if you are going to be overdressed.

Some other great options that you can do to make a blazer more casual are, a plain v-neck tee, a casual blouse, or pairing your blazer with a pair of distressed denim. All three of these will automatically take your blazer to the casual side.
