Men’s Summer Shoes
Guys, this one is for you. Being just a week or so into the “official” summer season, it is important to take another look at your summer shoe inventory. As always, I am sharing versatile options that will stand the test of time in your shoe wardrobe, provide you with comfort and style and make you feel confident in what you are wearing!
Tan Sneakers: Sport them as a slip-on in the Chino color unlaced with an oxford style short or lace them up and wear as a more “buttoned up” appeal – either way guys, you can never go wrong with a pair of Sperry’s. These will be your go-to shoe for more occasions than one throughout your summer!
Navy Slip On’s: The Dworien shoe by Aldo is a no-brainer style of shoe – pair them with a short, a khaki or a jogger and you have the perfect look. I love the Navy for a great, safe neutral or if you would like to take your look and shoe collection even more neutral, go for the Grey or Beige. It is rare when I tell you to go for whichever color you are digging the most, but this is one of those “special shoe occasions”!
Gray Sneakers: Comfort, breathable, trendy and stylish. If any of these qualities within a shoe are what you are looking for, this is most definitely the shoe for you! Here is a style of shoe that you can dress down or up without a doubt all while not worrying about the placement of your pesky laces. I am a huge fan of the combination of comfort and style within this shoe and Cole Haan has conquered that once again!
Classic Loafer: A classic, safe and timeless look will always be the loafer style shoe. Oh, and did I mention versatile? One of my favorite looks is to pair your loafers with denim (if you are wearing a more tailored fit or skinny, do not be afraid to roll your denim). For the summer time, do not be afraid to pair with shorts.
Flip-Flops: Every guy needs a great flip flop in their shoe collection – they key is to own one that is not too worn, too casual or not versatile enough.The Qyllan flip flop by Aldo will become your savior for the moments when you need to be more on the casual side but do not want to look sloppy. All black or the tan and black are great options. Trust me guys, this one will be the perfect addition to your casual footwear collection.
