My Thoughts on Poshmark

In my career there is a lot of saying “goodbye” to pieces in the wardrobe that just aren’t cutting it anymore. However, that doesn’t mean they are bad.

We’ve all been there, buying fast fashion pieces that we wear it once and never touch it again, or sometimes we have impulse purchases that for whatever reason remain tagged in the closet. So what do we do with them?

Well one woman’s or man’s second pick is someone else’s first. Meaning, sell your stuff to a new happy owner who will get great use out of it.

Here are my top 3 reasons why I love Poshmark:

1. Rewear, Reuse, Recycle- I am all about creating sustainability as much as possible in the fashion industry. Poshmark is a perfect opportunity for someone else to get use of your diamonds in the rough.

2. Payback- Poshmark is a great way to get a little payback on your clothing. Overall, clothing can be an investment, so it is always nice to get a little something back.

3. Third Party- One of the best things about Poshmark is that there is a third party involved. Meaning there is a company (Poshmark) involved in the buying and selling process between customers and sellers. Making it easy and stress free and let me be there first to tell you that easy and stress free transactions are key (especially when life is busy enough as it is)!
